Rubber Fenders
Rubber fenders have the toughness to withstand abrasion and compression without showing significant loss. Rubber fenders easily absorb impact forces. Our Hoffmeyer rubber dock fenders can handle heavy loads, shocks, and abrasions. Rubber fenders are typically colored black to hide cuts, scrapes, and scuffs. They can feature internal rubber ribbings and may be made of recycled rubber. Inflatable Fenders
Inflatable fenders are primarily used in marine applications to prevent impact shock. They are typically used on ocean platforms, LPG vessels, boats, large docks, wharfs, and harbors. Inflatable fenders have more energy absorption capacity than traditional rubber fenders, weigh less, and are quicker and easier to install. They also handle impact to ships better and are less expensive.

Inflatable fenders are a versatile solution because they can be easily deflated for convenient storage. They may absorb shock between vessels or between a dock and a vessel.

UHMW Fenders
Our Hoffmeyer UHMW dock fenders offer low friction, which creates less friction when used with marine vehicles. The corrosive action of high winds, sand, and salt water and does not affect these UHMW fenders nearly as much as other types of dock fenders. UHMW fenders even last longer than stainless steel fenders. They do not change shape in extremes of temperature, and can handle virtually all weather conditions.
