Rubber & Gaskets

We carry a wide selection of natural and synthetic sheet rubbers, such as our oil-resistant neoprene, chemical-resistant EPDM and high-elongation pure gum gasket sheeting. FDA approved, oil/chemical-resistant, as well as a variety of heat range sheeting is available.

Our PTFE sheeting exhibits superior chemical resistance. PTFE is a self-lubricating material that provides a low friction coefficient and is ideal for corrosion-resistant gaskets and seals.

This sheet combines SBR rubber with a nylon cloth insert for temperature resistance, thickness and increased strength. Hoffmeyer's rubber sheeting delivers maximum conformity and the ability to withstand deformation when used as a mechanical or engine diaphragm.

Graphite foil gaskets exhibit excellent corrosion resistance and good compression resilience. They perform extremely well in a wide range of temperatures. Our Hoffmeyer graphite foil exhaust gasket can withstand temperatures up to 1500º F.

With the ability to handle an extreme range of temperatures, silicone sheeting is much more versatile than other synthetic blends. Silicone is made to resist fungus, water and a variety of chemicals. Available in medical grade and FDA approved.

Hoffmeyer fabricates gaskets using specialty materials to produce ring and flange gaskets in various shapes and sizes, depending on the application. With our multi-disc slitter, we can produce economic, custom-width stripping. We have the right tools and experience to meet any gasket specs.

Hoffmeyer's compressed sheeting is ideal gasket material. Made from synthetic heat-resistant fibers bonded with a variety of rubber compounds, compressed sheeting is suited to use with a wide assortment of materials, including air, water, steam, brine, acids, alkalis, oils, animal fats or refrigerants.

One of our most commonly requested gaskets, spiral wound gaskets are used in applications that involve high temperatures and pressures, such as in steam and heat exchangers. These gaskets are also built to resist caustic and corrosive substances.

Hoffmeyer carries molded rubber items created by two different methods. Liquid injection molding is well suited for rubber goods used in the medical industry, such as crutch tips and stoppers. Compression molding can create high-strength molded items like grommets and bumpers. Our company supplies extruded rubber products in a wide variety of compounds, including sponges, gaskets, profiles, components, grommets and windshield wiper blades.

Dock fenders from Hoffmeyer are available in rubber, UHMW, and in inflatable material. Our options provide a solution for every application.

Designed for heavy-duty installations, our easy-to-mount, wear-resistant rubber dock fenders work well under severe loads and are resistant to steam, seawater and many chemicals. Each come pre-drilled and cut to custom lengths.

The convenience of deflation for easy storage sets inflatable dock fenders apart from other marine fenders. Lightweight and easy to deploy, these fenders absorb the shock of impact between dock and vessel.

The main feature of our UHMW dock fenders is the low coefficient of friction, which provides a smooth sliding surface for marine vessels, along the fender face. Available in a variety of thicknesses.
