PTFE hoses, also know as by the chemical name PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) hoses, have an extremely long shelf-life and can operate for long periods of time without degrading. Braided PTFE hoses withstand flexing, offer a non-stick surface, and absorb very little water. These PTFE hoses can be used for many industrial-manufacturing applications, as well as in automobiles, factories, and laboratories. Braided PTFE hoses are also used in gas-to-gas heat exchangers during gas cleaning of waste incinerators.
